Jensen Wedding Portraits at the Bayfront Lodge and Cabin

Ann Lander says that “Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet, understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.”

Although my time getting to know Sarah and Austen was short, I was truly moved by how deeply they adored and loved each other.

With all of my wedding photography clients, I love helping them create a detailed timeline for their special day. This allows us to visualize the flow of the event and prioritize what matters most. Originally, Sarah and Austen had planned a beautiful Navarre Beach wedding, dreaming of saying their vows along Florida’s stunning Emerald Coast. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, and they were forced to change the location of their ceremony.

Making that decision must have been incredibly difficult and disappointing. However, they were so blessed to have the beautiful the beautiful Bayfront Lodge and Cabin in that rested along the bay in Gulf Breeze FL as their backup venue. From an outsider’s perspective, you would have never known there was any disappointment at all they were both absolutely over the moon with excitement all day as they prepared to become husband and wife.

I have photographed many pre-wedding encounters as a Navarre Florida wedding photographer, but I have never captured one as deeply moving and personal as Sara and Austen’s. There wasn’t a single dry eye in the room, including mine.

Sara thoughtfully wrote Austen a heartfelt note and gifted him a Lord of the Rings J.R.R. Tolkien book set. It was the perfect gift as they begin this new chapter together, filled with adventures of their own — just like so many couples I photograph along Navarre Beach and the Emerald Coast.

Austen made Sara work for her gift, wrapping it in layers with fun surprises hidden between each one. In the end, he presented her with the most elegant diamond necklace — a truly unforgettable moment and one of my favorite emotional memories as a Navarre Beach wedding photographer.

I still get chills looking back at their beautiful ceremony. Even with all the last-minute changes, not a single detail took away from the beauty and intimacy of their day. The night continued with beautiful speeches, first dances, delicious food, and even better company. Friends and family traveled from near and far to surround Sara and Austen with love, support, and encouragement as they celebrated this amazing couple and their new life together.

As a Navarre Florida wedding photographer, I felt truly blessed to capture all of these unforgettable moments.
