I was honored to step in as the Navarre Beach wedding photographer for Jordan and Heather’s intimate Florida beach wedding, and what an unforgettable experience it was. Just days before their big day, unexpected circumstances arose, and they suddenly found themselves needing a last-minute wedding photographer. Thankfully, I was available and thrilled to capture their special moments.

As if that wasn’t enough excitement, Mother Nature had her own plans. A storm was brewing, and rain was in the forecast, adding an extra layer of stress. Rather than risk missing important moments or battling the weather, we decided to split their portrait session into two days.

The first day focused on capturing their beautiful wedding ceremony. Surrounded by their closest family, Jordan and Heather exchanged vows in a heartfelt, intimate setting on Navarre Beach. Despite the looming clouds, the love and joy shared by everyone present were undeniable, making the day even more meaningful.

With the rain still threatening, we waited for a better moment to continue their portraits. On the second day, it was just the two of them, and the beach was waiting. We walked along the shoreline, got our toes wet in the gentle Gulf waves, and captured breathtaking portraits that truly reflected their love and connection.

The split session turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Not only did it help us avoid the storm, but it also gave us more time to capture a variety of emotions, angles, and moments. Jordan and Heather were thrilled with their images, and I couldn’t have been happier to be part of their story.
