The Small Wedding Photos at the Sugarneck Farm in North Carolina
Chris and Angela's wedding was an extra special one for me. I’ve been fortunate to know Angela and her beautiful family for several years, ever since they lived near the Emerald Coast of Florida. When Angela asked me to be their photographer for their North Carolina wedding, I was beyond excited to capture such a meaningful and long-awaited celebration. By the time of this wedding, Angela and Chris had already been married for about five years, making this their dream wedding — something they had been saving and planning for. Being their Navarre Florida wedding photographer made this day even more special for me.
One thing I tell all my couples is that no wedding day goes perfectly as planned — and that’s okay. In fact, it’s the unplanned moments that make each wedding day unique and memorable. For Angela, the earrings she had ordered didn’t arrive on time. After her makeup was complete, she and her mom went on a jewelry hunt, visiting local stores to find the perfect pair. It was such a simple, yet deeply memorable moment that I know Angela and her mom will cherish for years to come.
Their day was filled with many special and meaningful details that I was fortunate to photograph. One of the most unique touches was that Angela wore two wedding dresses — one she had purchased five years prior but never had the chance to walk down the aisle in, and another she had chosen specifically for this day. Both were beautiful and unique, and Angela looked absolutely stunning in each.
As a Navarre Beach and Emerald Coast wedding photographer, I love capturing these intimate and personal moments — the laughter, the surprises, and the beautiful details — because they are what make each wedding story unforgettable.
When I began my journey into wedding photography, I started capturing beautiful rustic farm weddings in Nebraska. So, when Angela told me about the venue she had found for her North Carolina wedding, my imagination could hardly keep up with how incredible it would be. They discovered a fully refinished farm in Sanford, North Carolina called Sugarneck Farm.
The Sugarneck cabin had a rustic charm with an elegant twist, filled with countless thoughtful details that gave the venue a high-end feel. I was truly impressed by how beautifully decorated the entire property was. Angela, her family, and friends worked tirelessly to create a stunning wedding that left no detail overlooked.
As a Navarre Florida wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings that are filled with character and meaningful details — whether it’s along Navarre Beach, the Emerald Coast, or even a picturesque farm setting like Sugarneck Farm. Every wedding tells a unique story, and moments like these are what make each celebration unforgettable.
Chris was met at the end of the aisle by Angela's brother who preceded over their ceremony. Angela was walked down the aisle by her handsome twin boys and met at the end by her husband, friends and family.
I’m excited for you to meet the Small family! While they may not be small in number, they are truly one of the most beautiful families I’ve had the privilege of meeting and photographing. The love that flows through this fun, lively family is so abundant that it overflows onto everyone around them.
As a Navarre Florida family photographer, capturing joyful moments like these along Navarre Beach, the Emerald Coast, and surrounding areas is always such a rewarding experience. Families like the Smalls remind me why I love documenting heartfelt connections and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
