I had the wonderful opportunity to capture a heartwarming Mommy and Me photoshoot at the enchanting Holland Farms Sunflower fields located in Milton, Florida. Amidst the vibrant sea of sunflowers, Shelby's and her three adorable children created a truly magical scene.

The sunflower field was like a canvas painted with hues of gold and green, providing the perfect backdrop for this special moment. The towering sunflowers seemed to stretch endlessly towards the sky, creating a sense of awe-inspiring beauty. The way the sunlight filtered through the petals and leaves added a soft and warm glow to the entire setting.

Shelby's stood there among the filed of flowers radiating love and joy as she interacted with her children. The way they laughed, played, and shared affection was a testament to the strong bonds that tie a family together. Holland Farms is truly a gem in Milton, Florida. Families from all around the Florida Panhandle travel to this beautiful sunflower field to enjoy not only the flowers, but also the peaceful atmosphere, open skies, and rustic charm. It’s more than just a location it’s an experience. Children can explore nature, parents get to slow down for a moment, and together they create memories surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. The golden blooms symbolize warmth, joy, and new beginnings, making it a perfect setting for family photography.

As a mommy and me photographer, I don’t just focus on posing. I focus on connection the little in-between moments. The snuggles, the giggles, the way a child tugs on mama’s dress, the way a mother brushes hair from her daughter’s face. These details tell a story. During this session, I made sure Shelby and her children felt relaxed and free to be themselves. That authenticity shines through each image, allowing their personalities and relationships to truly stand out.

I also love how sunflower sessions reflect the beauty of motherhood itself. Sunflowers turn toward the sun, just as children naturally turn toward the love and guidance of their mother. Since moving from Jacksonville Fl o the Navarre, Florida area has opened the door to serving families across the Florida Panhandle and Northeast Florida. From Milton to Pensacola, Navarre, Destin, Tallahassee, and onward to Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and surrounding communities, I am excited to continue creating meaningful portraits that families will treasure for years.
