I am a Wedding, engagement, and Family photographer located in Jacksonville Florida

My pictures are all inspired by God and His beautiful creation. 

I am a fun, outgoing, and an adventurous person who loves exploring new places. I love finding new and unique locations for my clients that will bring their vision to life and enhance their session experience.

Traveling has always played an important role in my life. I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I often travel back home to visit with my family and to host photo sessions. I have spent time overseas and have traveled through many different states here in the US. My family and I lived in Nebraska for three years and fell in love with the Midwest. We currently live in Jacksonville, Florida and are greatly enjoying the sunshine and gorgeous beaches!

I love getting to see the world and experiencing it through my lens… and belly! I love food and trying new local foods. As a Destination Photographer, it has been a dream come true to travel to new places and capture some truly memorable moments for my clients, all while enjoying local cuisine. Who could ask for more?

Photography is my passion! I have loved taking pictures since I was a very young girl. My obsession started when I was probably about 6 or 7 years old and my mom got me my very own Where’s Waldo camera.  As I grew older, I bought various digital cameras over the years. But I didn’t get my first professional camera until my husband bought me one in the summer of 2012. Then Inspired By You Photography was born! 

I have spent countless hours learning camera, lighting, and editing techniques to create the beautiful, joyful, and vibrant style you see in my artwork.

What started as a small hobby has grown into a thriving business. My mom used to tell me to find a job I loved and was passionate about… that way working would never feel like work!

 I am a decade into this and I have to say that my mom was right. I love what I do! It never gets boring or old. 

Don’t you love how much we learn about everyone’s beauty and unique qualities as we get older and wiser? That’s one of my favorite parts of photography. I love getting to learn and share a glimpse of that uniqueness with the world through my gift with the camera.

My true love is wedding photography, and I desire to be the best wedding photographer I can be on your big day! It is a dream-come-true and such an honor to capture some of the most important moments in a person’s life. My vast experience with weddings means you can breathe a sigh of relief when you choose me as your photographer, knowing your special memories will be in good hands. 

I also love taking family and portrait photographs! I love meeting new families who want to capture a moment in time, and it’s such fun seeing familiar faces return for more family photos. It brings me joy to know that I can help them capture their vacations, milestones, and document some of their most important life events.

Have you ever experienced one of those family photo shoots where no one will smile, one kid is crying, the other kid is running away, your husband is exasperated and your hair keeps getting caught in your lip gloss?

I know life happens… and sometimes life happens during our session together. That’s okay! I am a very patient and flexible person. 

My patience often comes in handy when working with your children. As a parent myself, I understand how stressful picture time can be for you. I have two very rambunctious, fun, beautiful, and curious children myself.  In my years of parenting and taking pictures of other people’s kids, I have learned a trick or two, (I find most often a little bribe usually goes along way!) I love working with children. Kids are people too and have bad days just like everyone else. In those moments, it's sometimes easier to embrace the crazy moments. I have come to love the images of my children when they are expressing real emotions, whether its tears of sadness or joyful giggles… those real moments can make the best photographs. 

I’m creative but also organized, with some great systems in place to ensure I can give all my clients an easy, carefree, fun and memorable experience. 

I know in this crazy world it can be hard to find someone trustworthy. I consider myself a very honest person; someone you can trust with capturing your precious moments. I believe a person’s character speaks volumes to who they are and how they conduct business. 

I have several passions in life! My first love is for the Lord Jesus Christ, Without Him, nothing is possible, and He is the foundation of my life and my business.

My second great love is for my amazing family. My husband is truly my best friend and biggest cheerleader. When I start to doubt myself, he is the first to speak life and encouragement to me. I would not have found my success if not for his love and support. 

We have two beautiful, silly, and smart children. They are our world and we love being their parents. As a mom I love getting to view the world and its beauty through their eyes. My children are two of my biggest inspirations. They are two blessing I count every day.
